I am excited to be returning to my native Richmond to begin a career with Radiation Oncology Associates. My devotion to caring for cancer patients began years ago, after witnessing a family member’s struggle with cancer. My style is to treat the disease while also being attentive to patients’ needs of mind and spirit. Patients are empowered to understand their diagnosis and to make informed treatment decisions accordingly. My clinical interests span all aspects of radiation oncology, including innovative technology, brachytherapy, and cranial/extracranial stereotactic radiosurgery/ radiotherapy.

I have been published in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics, and was awarded the Medical Scholars Endowment, the Susan J. Mellette Scholarship honoring the well respected oncologist, and the Daniel Blain Woods Memorial Award, given to someone “exhibiting the qualities needed to be a good doctor- wisdom, passion, the desire to serve, the ability to analyze problems, integrity, and academic excellence.”

I look forward to getting involved in volunteer activities once getting settled back in Richmond.
